Our sports roots are deeply embedded in the local community and most important of all, is the 1962 agreement signed with the Cyprus Football Federation for the sponsorship of the Cup. In 1998, it was renamed as the Coca-Cola Cup, as it is called today. This season Coca-Cola offered a spectacular, well organized show to the 14,434 football fans, with flag wavers, trumpet & drum players, and cheerleaders that were there to view the Cup Final. A Cup for the 3rd and 4th category teams was introduced this year by The Cyprus Football Federation for which Coca-Cola embraced and supported.
