It is the second year Lanitis Bros has joined forces with the Cyprus Red Cross on its Safe Driving campaign. Cyprus is the 3rd European country with the most fatal accidents per capita, with youth, being the primary population group affected. Above the line communication has been prepared including a TV spot that was aired on national stations. Outdoor, radio and print were widely used, a FACEBOOK group was created and the clip was uploaded on YOUTUBE. Two events were organised for the public, in which, members of the Paraplegic Association shared their shocking experiences with the public and First Aid tips were given so that one knows how to respond in cases of accidents. The events were under the auspices of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Cyprus Police. Apart from this campaign Lanitis Bros has signed the European Charter for Road Safety.
