Waters

Water is a source of life. It is the second most important ingredient in the human body after oxygen since it comprises 60% of an adult’s weight. It is also necessary for our own survival since it participates in many bodily functions and contributes to good health, wellness and beauty.

Lanitis Bros offers the Greek natural mineral water AVRA in the Cyprus market, which is sourced from underground springs, that are pure and do not require treatments

Across the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group an extensive range of water brands provide consumers with additional choice when selecting safe, appealing ways to obtain refreshments and the hydration necessary to lead a healthy, well balanced life.

Our water portfolio includes:

  • natural mineral water, which is sourced from underground springs, that are pure and do not require treatments
  • available in plastic bottles of 500ml, 1L and 1.5L and in the 1L glass bottle AVRA ActiveCap in the practical 750ml plastic bottle that fits perfectly in ones hand and with a security screw cap for ease of use and transport.
Avra mineral water comes from the «Avra» source, located in the mountainous region of Aegio and bottled under strict controls, without any additional processing to ensure its naturalness and excellent quality. At each stage of the production process, until the point of sale, strict random audits are conducted to ensure excellent quality levels. A key advantage is the vertical production process used (producing PET bottles, bottling up the water and the final package).

In addition, the safety and quality of Avra natural mineral water, is ensured through the certifications of our Aigio bottling plant, by the independent certification body Lloyd's (LRQA) according to the following international standards:
  • ISO 9001:2000, Quality Management System
  • ISO 22000:2005, Food Safety Management System
  • ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management System
  • OHSAS 18001:2007, System Management Occupational Health and Safety
Also regular inspections of the Food Authority (EFET) and of the Directorate of Health are conducted.
